It's Fall!

Some of you may have noticed that it is fall already... It kinda hit me today!
*Some* of the trees in the park are changing colour already.. some more than others for some reason. Our neighbour's tree is looking reallllly pretty, it's leaves are turning deep red and orange. I think its a maple tree. This reminds me of this poem for some reason...

I am surprised that fall has snuck up on me since it is my favourite season! I love the rich oranges and red and golds! I even love the drizzly rain and cooler temperatures (if only they'd stay this warm!) I am also surprised that I didn't realize it's fall sooner because I started school a couple weeks ago. I think that the fact that I am in school again is just starting to sink in too. I have my first assignments, projects and tests starting this week! I think these impending assignments etc. are what forced me to realize that it really is Fall.

It also helps that I have started a countdown to my birthday!
(which is also in Fall! --26 more days!)
I am excited since it's a big birthday, but it also makes me want to go home and see family and friends...!

Anywho on that note I should actually do some of this homework I've been writing about...
I think I might be into blogging more now.. as a procrastination tool!

What's in my Purse...

Just like Miranda was wondering the other day, I sometimes wonder what people carry in their bag...

Here is what is in my bag today! I emphasize today because I constantly change purses/bags from this black one, to a plaid orange and brown over-the-shoulder and my school backpack!

Starting from top left...

• my cell phone case (phone is in my pocket)
• travel size advil
• lotion, hand sanitizer, chapstick (mint flavour!)
  
• mini mascara
  
• my keys
• white head band
• pearl bracelet
• felt heart from valentine's day
• My Bible, went to church this morning, the pastor is trying to get everyone to bring their Bible so he doesn't show the scripture, just where to find it.
• toothpicks?? I don't remember putting those in there, nor do I ever use them...
  
• 2 pens and a pencil, probably from school or so I can do the crossword on the bus
• a DQ spoon! The prefect size for yogurt!
• my pretty kinda-new wallet
• 1 1/2 quaker smores granola bars, 1 (quite squished) nutrigrain bar and 2 all-bran bars - Never leave home without them!
• (bottom) starbucks stopper thing
• metal nail file
• a lock! For work
• 2 packs of gum, one pack had only 1 piece left
• hair clips
• a container of sweet tarts
• 3 candies from a restaurant in Toronto.. from the beginning of August

I'm not so good at this blogging thing...

Hello again!

It's been roughly a month since I posted anything on here.. hehe! I guess I'm not that good at this blogging thing.. But I have been getting some ideas since I've been reading my aunt's blog.. Fabric, Paper, Thread and Miranda's Just Add more Sprinkles blogs!

Since I started back in school I haven't had much time for much.. and nothing all that exciting's been going on out here! I will write some stuff more often, maybe.. I have some stuff I've been wanting to post, like a sum of all my canning with pictures.. and I would like to do the 'What's in my purse' thing Miranda did the other day...

I promise I will do this, but for right now I have procrastinated enough (with changing the layout etc.) and need to do some homework before Simon comes home!!!
