It's Fall!

Some of you may have noticed that it is fall already... It kinda hit me today!
*Some* of the trees in the park are changing colour already.. some more than others for some reason. Our neighbour's tree is looking reallllly pretty, it's leaves are turning deep red and orange. I think its a maple tree. This reminds me of this poem for some reason...

Nothing Gold Can Stay

I am surprised that fall has snuck up on me since it is my favourite season! I love the rich oranges and red and golds! I even love the drizzly rain and cooler temperatures (if only they'd stay this warm!) I am also surprised that I didn't realize it's fall sooner because I started school a couple weeks ago. I think that the fact that I am in school again is just starting to sink in too. I have my first assignments, projects and tests starting this week! I think these impending assignments etc. are what forced me to realize that it really is Fall.

It also helps that I have started a countdown to my birthday!
(which is also in Fall! --26 more days!)
I am excited since it's a big birthday, but it also makes me want to go home and see family and friends...!

Anywho on that note I should actually do some of this homework I've been writing about...
I think I might be into blogging more now.. as a procrastination tool!
